July 24, 2005 Received the Pennsylvania Society for the Advancement of the Deaf, Inc.(PSAD) Community Service Award for recognition of enormous respect as a friend and advocate [for all Deaf people, including talented Deaf artists….]
July, 2004 Received the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) Greenmun Award for excellence in work performed impacting the lives of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people on the local and state level.
December, 2002 Carol Finkle received the Please Touch Museum’s “Great Friend to Kids Award” (video, and nomination letters available)
Fall 2002 Please Touch Museum awarded "Great Friend to Kids Award" to Creative Access.
Fall 2002 Key to the City awarded to Creative Access by Philadelphia Mayor John F. Street
June 1, 2002 Designated Creative Access Day in the City of Philadelphia and by Proclamation Carol Finkle was given the “Key to the City” from Mayor John F. Street for making Philadelphia shine as a “model” of Accessibility BEYOND the RAMP!~] (Proclamation Available)

Union County College Department of American Sign and Deaf Studies honored Creative Access and Carol Finkle with the “AlB” (Alan Barwiolek) Memorial Award which is given to those people dedicated to the cause of Deaf Culture and Deaf Community and who have gone beyond the “call of duty”. April, 2001 Award presented by the Norwest Deaf Club “Captioning Now” Movement; The Connecticut Coalition for Captioning; the Connecticut Commission for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired … to acknowledge Carol Finkle for her tireless efforts on our behalf to obtain legislation for captioned movies. Summer, 2000 Creative Access designated a Pennsylvania Keystone of Accessibility by the PA Council on the Arts, having been nominated by Steven Florio, President, PA Society for the Advancement of the Deaf.

October, 1998 Access Achievement Award presented by the City of Philadelphia Mayor’s Commission on People with Disabilities for their outstanding commitment to increase access for persons with disabilities through the illumination of physical and attitudinal barriers.
May, 1995 The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Council of SEPA honored Carol Finkle as Hearing Person of the Year for her outstanding work to insure the rights of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to have their culture and language respected in all aspects of community life.
