Hi Carol
I just want to tell you yesterday Tom and I went to see the show "Lion King". It was great. The interpreters signed so graceful! It was worth to see the show. I hope in the future there will have more drama shows with interpreters.
Thanks

Feb. 8, 2007 Reaction Letter to performance by THE WILD ZAPPERS; 7 Black, Deaf Hip-hop, Jazz dancers, actors, poets thrill the 500 strong assembly of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing students K-8 at John Hancock Elementary, Philadelphia, PA
Letter from Deaf parent:
Hello everyone ,
My name is Debbie Hulme I have deaf family. my mother and father and sister are deaf. also i have three deaf children who attend the Philadephia IU school.
I attend to see the Wild Zappers show at one of my kids school [John Hancock Elementary]. wow i was amazed at how the show went and i believe that all hearing schools should have them do the performance at every school so the hearing people childrens can see how well a deaf performancer can really dance to the music at a perfect time without hearing anything,
" deaf people can do anything a hearing people can do except hear!" smile
hope everyone can hired this performance to do some shows at every school around !
Hi Carol,
Thank you for inviting me to the "Deaf Holocaust Experience". The event was very powerful and moving, and Dr. Carmel was fantastic in his presentation. More people should be exposed to the above event.
At your convenience, please forward to me Dr. Carmel's contact information.
Thanks,
Phil
